Adventure Books For Adults

adventure books for adults
What other books to read after Twilight for adults?

I have read many fantasy books from all of Neil Gaimans works, all twilight series, His Dark Materials, Harry Potter, Narnia, Enders game, Dark Tower Series, and a few other none series. Im looking for a series that has everything Twilight had.
I want a series one with Love, adventure, fantasy, and has great supporting characters. The problem I get is most reccomendations are for Young Adult books which are good but I would like to read about someone closer to 30 then 16.
I have read most of anne rices series.
Read most of anne rices stuff also and Lord of the rings, plus a ton of comics and graphic novels.

Since you liked Twilight so much, why not try reading “The Host” – Stephanie Meyer’s first novel aimed towards a more mature audience.

You’ll find that her writing style is slightly different from that of the Twilight series – in a way that I much prefer, actually. I’m not entirely certain if this is due to the fact that she’s aiming the book towards a higher end of the age range, or if she’s simply growing as an author.

In any case, it was an enjoyable book, and very unique. It leans a little more towards Sci-fi rather than Fantasy, but it’s definitely worth looking into.

She is also debating whether or not she’ll continue the story with two more sequels – so, if you enjoy it, there’s that to look forward to.

There is also The Vampire Chronicles, a series written by Anne Rice – if you enjoy vampires. The first two – Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat – are definitely worth looking into.

Good luck searching!
