How Can A Thirteen Year-Old Girl Make $3400 In Only One Year?
My school is going on an Ultimate Science Trip which includes flying down to Florida to go to Disney World, the Island of Adventures, Universal Studios, the Kennedy Space Center and a tonne of other places in Florida. The cost of this is $3000 (including airfare, meals and hotel rooms), plus spending money which will be around $400.
I am a responsible thirteen year-old girl, am about to get a job, am on the honor roll, do not have a cellphone and I am a hard worker.
Can I make this money by April 2010 if I mow lawns, rake lawns, babysit, shovel walks, only ask for money at Christmas, fundraise with the school, ask for pop cans, do odd jobs, get two jobs and work for my grandparents? Even if you think I can, could you give me several suggestions as to how to make the money? I am not interested in using the internet at all to make money and any rude or immature comments will be deleted.
Ironically I was just reading an article on Yahoo this morning about grade school entrepreneurs. I don’t remember all of the business off hand but one kid designed a hot pencil with pencil topper, another a hair spray and another designed a t shirt. Yes, it’s possible to earn $3400 and then some but it’s up to you to make it happen. Start with library books like “Fast Cash for Kids” by Bonnie & Noel Drew. There are many titles at the library that will help you decide what to do and how to start.
