what are good summer camps in california!?
hi, im looking for a coed camp either for modeling or acting, or for just adventure and fun (specifically water sports) . i am going to be twelve pretty soon and i dont want to be with all the little kids like 4th graders. id rather be in the older groups. the camps i am looking for must be under the price of $500. also, i would like to go to a residential camp. if you could help i would highly appreciate it (maybe names of websites also)

There are a lot of good residential camps in California. Unfortunately, a residential camp for under $500 is going to be very hard to find, at least a good one. Most of the YMCA camps (and many other camps, too) have scholarships for families that make under a certain amount of money. They are easy to get. Your parents just need to call the camps to get more information. With a financial need scholarship you may even get to go to camp for free.
To find your perfect camp go to http://www.mysummercamps.com/ and click on either “Residential Camps” or “Arts Camps” and put in California where it says “What State”. You can visit their websites and get more information.
