Why is it that Walt Disney World does not Redecorate the Haunted Mansion during October like Disneyland?

It seems silly of me that Disney would only chose a couple of parks to change the Haunted Mansion into a Nightmare Before Christmas themed ride and not the others. The least they could do is have people walking around dressed as Jack and Sally. Heck, I’ll take the job without pay if I had to. I know I can’t be the only one who wants it down here. After adding so many experiences such as the Monsters inc. Laugh Floor that is just for kids basically, the least they could do is add something that us teenagers and young adults will want to go to Magic Kingdom for and not go to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Especially now that The Wizarding World is coming up, Disney is going to need to add more than remodeling part of Fantasyland by adding yet another Little Mermaid attraction and a new restaurant based around Gaston’s Tavern.
I meant silly to me, not of me >.>

There are a number of theories as to why WDW Magic Kingdom does not makeover the Mansion into Haunted Mansion Holiday, especially when Tokyo – an almost exact replica of the MK attraction – does it every year. These theories include Time Burton’s refusal to dilute his brand even more than he has at Hot Topic, licensing fees Disney would have to pay to Burton, and so on. But the most often cited theory involves customer satisfaction.

In order to transform the Disneyland Mansion, the attraction is shut down in September for almost the whole month, then shut again in January for almost the same length of time. The theory goes that more people plan a “once in a lifetime” visit to WDW whereas Disneyland draws its guests primarily locally. If those WDW once in a lifetime guests arrived at the resort and discovered their favorite attraction to be closed two months out of twelve, there would be a huge public outcry.

Then of course there’s the fact that the WDW management hates to spend money unless forced to do so.
