Trampoline In Schools.
Although there are many people that argue that things such as play system and 12ft trampoline should not be allowed in the playground as they worried about health and safety I feel that in some instances you are actually denying kids a proper childhood.
What seem to be the reasons behind it all?
A lot of the schools are actually too scared to throw in a lot of fun for the schools as there are many parents that stand against every idea mentioned. There are so many people out there that would attempt to sue someone for no good reason. If a child falls of something then yes, fair enough it could be to do with the school not taking care of the children but in the most instance it is because kids are being kids and they are always falling over.
Price has a lot to do with it too and these things are often very expensive for a school to deploy. This is why it can be a lot easier to host a fair or something like that so that a lot of money can be raised so that the school can improve upon many of the things that it already has in the playground. You can see the problem as the average school play adventure will set them back around £5,000 which isn’t even taking the installation into consideration.
This does seem to be a very big problem and relying on the public to come up with the cash isnt really a great idea as they are supposed to be paying taxes for this sort of thing!
So make sure your child’s school gets some decent play system installed soon or the kids will really start to get bored during those lunch hours. So there you have it
