Love the Outdoors. Where to go for Spring Break?
I am a college student, and I love to hike/walk/camp/trek/river raft/etc, but I am on a very limited budget.
Right now I’m in Eastern Washington, and it’s too cold to do any of those things for Spring Break, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to go (So Cal? AZ? etc.) that will be warm around mid-March.
I have a week, and I’ve heard about Zion and obviously the Grand Canyon would be great, but my bank account is quite low, so transportation to a warm place is an issue. Lost cause?
P.S. I have most of the gear I might need, it’s just airfare that’s a problem.
P.P.S. I love camping, or just a series of day hikes, I LOVE fishing (pref. for things that use trout equipment), I like rugged terrain, and I LOVE taking pictures.
Awfully cold in the Southwest this year. Fishing may be poor into May!
