El Capitan, Texas how is the hike?
I read that there is a hiking trail to the summit? is that true, so you dont need climbing gear? How difficult is the hike and how long is the trail
Have climbed it twice, both times in the summer. Climb was not technical and no gear required beyond weather appropriate clothing water and food. Was a nice longish day hike for decently in shape folks. My parents went with and made the hike without problem.
