im doing an expedition with 4 other people can you suggest a tent to use thats under £300?
Hi i’m 14 and am a very keen hiker. this year i am planning to do a hike along the length of the downs, with 4 other guys. we’re planning to do this in the summer holidays and we would like to take roughly 3 or 4 days. it needs to be big enough to fit 5 people that are all between 5’8″ and 6′ all with full 70-90l kit bags. it definitely needs to be waterproof, lightweight and it needs to be very small when packed. also next year we’re hiking the length of Hadrian’s wall in scotland so needs to withstand scottish weather.
A five person tent that is large enough for people and packs also is going large and heavy. Which one of you is going carry the tent, kind of difficult to share the load The best way to do this is everyone carries their own shelter.
