Half Dome hiking — will the cables be up by mid April?
I want to take my 10 year old son on a hike to Half Dome (Yosemite) during his spring break. Question is, will the cable aids for the last 400 feet of the hilke to the top be up by this time of the year?
The cables for Half Dome do not generally go up to right before Memorial Day(Late May). Conditions will set the exact date but in Mid-April they will probably not be up yet.
