The Alaka’i Swamp (not actually a swamp as we know it) ihas great hiking, as does Koke’e Forest. Don’t miss the Kalalau Lookout, it overlooks Napali Coast but those mountains are very rough and you need to be a very experienced hiker. There are also hikes starting at Lumahai Beach (site of the first “South Pacific”) on the north shore. Rains a lot there, though.
