Kauai: Suggestions for a secluded/hideaway gem for honeymooners?

We are planning on spending a week there this spring and do not wish to be around alot of people (ie, resort, hotel). Can anyone recommend a B&B or smaller hotel? We’d like to be w/in walking distance from a secluded beach. We are interested in hiking, seeing falls, snorkeling, etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

we’ve been to kauai ten times and know the island well- 3 main areas-Poipu on the south shore, Kapaa on the east shore and Princeville/Hanelei on the noth shore. I highly reccomend a book The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook it has great info on condo’s hotels activities food ect… South shore is drier and sunny- closer to some excellent hiking in Kokee national park North Shore also has great hiking and excellent snorkling at “tunnels’ but the weather can be wet!!! Most of the secluded beachs are from Kapaa to the north shore they are a bit difficult to find but are worth it Larsen’s beach Hideaways Moloa’a beach to name a few. We rent a condo in Kapaa which is pretty quiet and has trails to walk along the beach. it is centrally located so a trip to the north or south shore is not a long drive. If you need more info shoot me an e-mail Gregg
