Cost to hike Machu Picchu?
Im interested in hiking Machu Picchu with my buddy sometime in December, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a tour company that provides the best experience (i.e. they don’t cut corners or rush you) for about 2 days time. What type of expenses would I be looking at for two people, and how do they compare (both experience, trust and costs) to private tours?
Also, what are the tipping customs like in Peru?

We intend to go on our own but there are tour agency there in Cuzco to help you with the hike. It is cheaper to book in Cuzco then on the Internet. It cost about $100 – $500, depends on the duration. If will cost more if you book on the internet probably about $250 for 2 days. 2 days is too short for the hike, it will take at least 3 days to hike Machu Picchu.
