why do people shop when nothing is needed?
my wife takes me to shops and insists on buying me a shirt on sale. She tells me it is my color, style, fit. I tell her I have shirts in the closet that I haven’t worn. I have more shoes now than in my entire life, 2 kinds of athletic shoes, hiking boots, work boots, dress shoes, sandals ..she has racks of shoes, clothes,.
I told her she has to give away a shirt if she buys me a shirt. Same with pants and shorts, belts, underware, hats, socks.
My GOD why do I need all these clothes??? long sleeve, short sleeve, polo shirts, t-shirts,
A neighbor would every 4years have a yard sale and sell everything in the house, furniture, clothes, rugs, fixtures and re-paint and carpet and furnish the entire house and wardrobe
People have car garages stuffed with boxes of things they never use.
Why, Why.,whywhywhy
People like collecting things that they approve of or like. Things that make them happy. Sometimes when someone was not allowed to buy things in their youth they completely try to make up for it by buy more than they need as adults.
Plus, we’re selfish Americans with way too much time and money on our hands.
