What type of career fits my interests?
I am a sophomore in college trying to decide what to do in life. Career discernment has been on the mind lately especially since some big decisions are coming up. I would love a job that first and foremost would allow me to help people. I would like a job though that is somewhat prestigious, pays well, and would allow for international travel. I would like a job with an adventure/danger aspect to it. Some examples of what I have thought of so far: doctor at a hospital with flexibility to work internationally with programs like Doctors Without Borders; JAG lawyer in the Marine Corps; International business entrepreneur; foreign service, CIA etc. I want a meaningful job where I can serve others, make a difference, have an adventure, and give me the ability to look back when I’m old and say, “what a life.” Any suggestions? Thanks for your time…
(P.S. I know that Yahoo Answers is a somewhat tacky way to find career advice, but I believe that good ideas can come from anywhere)
