What movies have been out that involve a child with a disease and an “other world” adventure to deal with it?
I’m trying to remember the titles of any movies that involve someone who is sick and they have an adventure in another time or another world fighting off enemies as they are in ‘real life’ fighting the disease.
Can you think of any?
An idea would be” Osmosis Jones” even though that’s about a cold, not a disease.
Or “The Princess Bride.” That only opens with a sick kid and then a different story is told though.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Voyage of the unicorn (don’t know if this is ok) – the sickness the kids and their dad are fighting against is the sadness and loneliness coz they just lost their mother.
