Sex and the City Opinion?
I’ve been dealing with something over the past couple of months. I’m a straight guy, and I like watching Sex and the City. Now, I’m not really a guy who attaches himself to what society has stated is “normal”, but what is the big deal with straight guys watching Sex and the City? Here’s a question: Why is it alright for women to be watching sporting events, when it is considered a “man’s thing” -and not be judged – , while people turn all judgmental when a straight man sees Sex and the City, when it’s considered a woman’s or a gay man’s thing? What I like about the show is to see the woman’s lives and to see where their adventures go and how the plot of every episode develops, not to specifically see with what man they sleep with. What is your opinion of the situation, or better yet, what is your opinion about my opinion?
okay, you are obviously correct. i totally agree with your opinion. i watch sex and the city (im a girl, though) and i think its a good show. if it makes you laugh…why not watch it? but-if anyone like makes fun of you or something….instead of going into a big long explanation- just say “There are sex scenes” and turn away. lol.
