Blade Runner, sequel, prequel, nothing atall?
Lets be honest, Blade Runner would come under 4 in the top 10 best sci-fi films ever and under 40 in the top 100 greatest films ever made. Yet should they try for another.
If you are savy with the news you will know that the paperwork to Blade Runner have been sold, but only for a prequel or sequel, not a remake, thank god!
The new owners you say? The same company which produced The Blindside and The Book of Eli. This as you know is not good and could leave Blade Runner a stupid, emotionless, action adventure film.
But then again there is a fantastic opertunity to expand the universe of Blade Runner, if a new film goes its own way and is not constantly trying to be like the origonal.
What do you think, sequel, prequel or nothing?
Me, I am actually quite intrested in the idea of a prequel.
There is a sequel (maybe a few) to the novel “do androids dream of electric sheep” which blade runner was based on. But it wasn’t written by Phillip k dick. I haven’t read it..
