Boardman road bikes any good?
They seem to be very good and have shimano gears and good Components and are very light for what you pay also I some of the reviews say some of there cheaper bikes are even better then Trek,Giant or Felt.

They are reasonably good, but they are still a Halfords cycle, so expect to have to set it up yourself, I’ve had very poor service from staff at more than one Halfords store.
I did look at the Boardman range, but it was my past experience with Halfords that put me off, and I ended up buying a Giant, which I’m more than happy with.
I’ve seen some good reviews of the Boardman cycles, so if you are capable of maintaining it yourself, they could be worth giving some serious consideration to.
