would this make a good business idea?
I am thinking of starting a business. I was going to start with buttons and perhaps branch out after awhile. I was thinking of doing popular and unique buttons…like justin beiber, doctor who, star trek, sports etc and beginning the business on ebay and standing outside concerts and sporting events(not directly outside but nearby). do you think this is a good business idea? would you buy buttons (and perhaps down the road..t-shirts, hats, mugs etc) with these themes?
Well, I don’t know. To be honest, I don’t think you can do that. Star Trek is a licensed product. The same with Justin Beiber. You cannot just go and take his picture…turn it into a button and sell it. HE would need to give permission and would have to get a certain portion of your profits. You would need to consult with an attorney on this. You cannot use already licensed products and sell them.
