Travelling north thailand in december?
Any ideas or suggestions from Bangkok up to North Thailand in one week. Would like to do trekking, canoeing etc but on our own – not a tour group. Which areas are nicest? What’s the best way to travel – hire a car or public transport?
Would then like to go across to Luang Prabang – how best to get there?
We travelling over christmas – should we book in advance?
